How do I change a Staff member's permissions?

Adjust permissions of Staff members within your organization.

InitLive is now Bloomerang Volunteer—a new name, a new look, and a new integration. Bloomerang Volunteer works just like InitLive. You can do everything you always do, and in the same way.

You can adjust Staff permissions to allow members of your Organization to do more with InitLive. You can allow Staff to view historical data, create new Opportunities, and more. To change a Staff member's permissions, select them from your Organization's Staff List and select the 'Permissions' tab on the left-hand side of their profile card.

As an Organization Manager, you can also grant the same level of access to others within your Organization. This can be done if you wish for another person to have full access to Staff, Opportunities, and all associated settings and permissions. Please keep in mind, whomever you grant this permission to will have full access to everything in your system as this is the absolute highest possible level of permission in InitLive. To grant the Organization Manager permission to a Staff member, select them from your Organization's Staff List and select the 'Permissions' tab on the left-hand side of their profile card. You can then select the 'Organization Manager' checkbox and click done.

You can also grant permission to allow your Staff members to view historic data as well as create Opportunities. Allowing a user to view historic data means that if they are an Opportunity Manager, they can copy data from other Opportunities within the Organization. This can be enabled with or without allowing them to have access to create Opportunities on their own. Lastly, you can view, filter, and manage your other Organization Managers from the Staff List within your Organization. Filter by Organization Managers and use the Take Action button to send messages. Of course, be sure to keep your Organization Managers up-to-date, adding new Staff and revoking the permission from those who do not require it.
