What are the Staff Rostering Conflicts?

If a Staff member is not the Best Match for a specific Shift, an alert icon will display beside their name. This is what we call a Conflict. There are 5 different kinds of Conflicts: 
  • Availability Conflict
    There are two types of Availability Conflicts. First, a conflict will display if Staff have not filled in their availability. Second, a conflict will display if Staff have marked themselves as unavailable during the selected Shift time.
  • Qualification Conflict
    When a Staff member is missing one or more of the Qualifications needed for the selected Shift.
  • Role Conflict
    When a Staff member is missing one or more of the Roles needed for the selected Shift. 
  •  Shift Conflict
    When a Staff member is already Scheduled in a Shift during the same time period. 
  • Event Conflict
    When a Staff member is Scheduled in another Event during the same time as the currently selected Shift. 

How do I see the details of a rostering conflict?

When you are looking for more information about the conflict, you can do so by clicking on the conflict Icon. This will pop up a screen with an explanation of all the issues.
