Using List View

List View is a specific type of view that appears throughout Bloomerang Volunteer. List View displays data in rows and columns, in order to show a deep level of data in a single snapshot. With List view, organization, opportunity, and role managers can easily search, organize, sort, and customize data.

About List View

List View offers several advantages over simple tables. In List View, you can:

  • View data full screen.
  • Select which columns appear.
  • Rearrange columns.
  • Sort rows.

For example: List View is available on an opportunity’s Schedule page, in addition to Calendar View. Here, the views display shift data.

Other pages in Bloomerang Volunteer that use List View include:

  • Your organization’s volunteer list
  • An opportunity’s volunteer list
  • Opportunity schedule

Note: The Central Schedule and opportunity list do not use List View.

Customize List View

  • To show or hide columns, click the Customize Column button list_view_customize_columns. Select the checkbox next to a column name to show that column, or clear the checkbox to hide it.

Tip: To automatically send selected items to the top of the List View, sort the list by the checkbox column.

  • To adjust the width of a column, click and drag the edge of the column.
  • To sort the data by a column, click on the up and down arrows in the column header.
  • To filter the data, click Show Filters and select a filter. To clear a filter, click it again and then click Clear.
  • To move a column left or right in the List View, click the handle and drag the column.
