What is Group Signup Visibility?
There are two different states of Group Signup Visibility: Public and Private.
Public Signup Visibility
Public Signup Visibility means that the Group title is visible in the signup process for volunteers to select. Account-Based groups are always public.
Private Signup Visibility
Private Signup Visibility means that the group is not visible in the signup process for volunteers to select. Number-based groups are always private.
Tip: Instead of enabling Group Registration as a signup step, you can create custom Form Questions asking users to identify their Group. From there, you can filter through the answers and bulk-assign assign those users to a group. In doing so you can make an Account-Based Group Private and a Number-Based Group Public.
