What are Shift Conflicts?
Bloomerang Volunteer presents Shift Conflicts to ensure that users do not signup for multiple shifts across Opportunities that conflict with each other. This means that you cannot accidentally sign up for two Shifts that are occurring at the same time. When trying to sign up for Shifts if a Conflict exists there will be a notification icon that will explain what the conflict is, and in most cases will prevent you from selecting a Shift that has a conflict. Shift Conflicts that can appear are as follows;
-
Shift Conflict - Already Scheduled
-
Availability Conflict - Shift time is outside of available times
-
Qualification Conflict - do not have the necessary qualifications
-
Role Conflict - do not have the required Role
-
Opportunity Conflict - already scheduled in another Opportunity at that time
