Restrict Volunteers from Entering Hours Worked
In some cases, volunteers should not be allowed to enter their own hours worked. Instead, you can require that volunteers check in and out with a manager or at the attendance kiosk. You can control whether or not volunteers can enter hours worked from each opportunity.
To restrict volunteers from entering hours worked for an opportunity:
- Select My Opportunities.
- Click an opportunity.
- Click General Settings, Notifications & Permissions.
- Click Attendance Settings.
- Click the switch to turn off Self-Track Hours Worked.
When Self-Track Hours Worked is off, volunteers cannot enter their own hours from that opportunity in Bloomerang Volunteer.
Tip: To change Self-Track Hours Worked for multiple opportunities at once, you can bulk edit the Attendance Settings at the Organization level. For more information, read Bulk Edit Opportunities.
