How do I customize the recipients of an Automation?
When creating email automation the recipients can be customized in the settings. The default setting is that the automation will send to everyone that meets the requirements of the automation. If required the manager can choose to send the automation based on a user's Tags as well as the general requirements being met.
When configuring recipients with Tags you can choose to either send to all users that have ANY of the Tags selected, or you can choose to only send to users that have ALL the Tags selected. This allows Managers the ability to customize any of the automated emails to only send to specific users. An example of this would be if you are approving users into the Organization and they have received Tags via auto-assign during the signup process. The Manager can set up different approval emails to go out depending on the type of volunteer the user is, or even by their interests based on their Tags.
